Our local streets should be safe and comfortable for everyone. When children can walk and cycle to school we see the benefits with less traffic, cleaner air, and healthier kids. We need to make brave choices to reduce our car trips and make space for strolling, cycling, public transport and nature.
No Vacancy
The council has unique powers to activate vacant and derelict sites. This increases the feeling of safety in the community and provides badly needed residential and commercial development. Local knowledge is vital for this effort and I’m eager to help you tackle problem sites in your area.
CLIMATE Ready
Retrofitting and community energy schemes save us money, give us warmer homes, and reduce our use of fossil fuels. Now is the time to adapt our homes, main streets, and parks to safeguard against extreme weather.
